This program provides financial Medical assistance for the client that falls into the aged, blind or disabled category.
- Individuals up to 64 must meet the state definition of blind or disabled.
- Individuals 65 and above are considered aged.
Services
The program offers financial assistance for:
- Assisted Living (Rest Home)
- Group Home
- Medical Expenses Nursing Home
- Pays Medicare Premiums
Note: Some Medicaid Programs will only pay the Medicare Premiums.
Eligibility
To be eligible, you must:
- Be a resident of Yadkin County
- Meet the aged or disability requirements
- Meet program guidelines for income/reserve
