Yadkin County Park

The Yadkin County Park has been a fixture of recreation in Yadkin County for over 30 years and has undergone a major “face-lift” in the last few years. Beyond repairs and general improvements, the park gained additional soccer fields, a fishing pier, an expanded disc golf course, and a wonderful playground to honor Lance Corporal Daniel Freeman Swaim that includes a canopy over part of the playground and a small picnic shelter adjacent to it. Along with these newer additions, the park is home to a rock dust walking trail, a nature trail, soccer fields, baseball/softball fields, two fishing ponds, an outdoor volleyball court, a dog park, and multiple benches and picnic areas.
