  • Yadkin County is set to receive over $6 million dollars over an 18-year period through the Opioid Litigation Settlement. This payment period began in 2022 and is anticipated to end in 2039. Communities are able to use these funds to support residents through various approved treatment options, recovery, harm reduction methods, early intervention, among other preventative and life-saving programs and services. Counties were given the option to select from a list of approved strategies. Funding approvals are directed through the Yadkin County Board of Commissioners. For more information, including a list of the strategies listed on the North Carolina’s Opioid Settlement dashboard, please visit CORE-NC.
